Product Requirements

You need an AQARA Hub, which is required and sold separately. This hub is specifically compatible with devices like M2 and M1S, E1, M1S Gen2, and Camera Hub G2H Pro/G2H. The Camera Hub G3 requires a 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi network. Wire connection via Ethernet RJ45 is also supported for Hub M2. For integration with HomeKit or Alexa skills, an AQARA Hub is necessary for binding.

Proximity

To ensure a stable connection and accurate data transmission, place the Aqara Temperature and Humidity Sensor within 400 inches of the AQARA Zigbee hub and ensure the hub is in the same range from your Wi-Fi router. Both the hub and router should be on the same local area network (LAN).

Remote Monitoring and Home Automation

When the room temperature deviates from your set threshold, the Aqara Temperature and Humidity Sensor can send a push alert to your phone. It can also trigger the Aqara Hub night light and control other connected devices like Aqara Smart Plugs. This ensures that your fan or humidifier maintains a constant level of comfort for you and your family.

Accurate Measurement

The sensor utilizes high-quality components from Sensirion. For best results, avoid installing the Aqara Temperature Sensor in extreme temperature environments like inside a refrigerator. When setting up, please follow these steps: pull the plastic battery tab out before long-pressing the reset button to start the device. If it disconnects, ensure the battery has power. If not, rotate the temperature sensor to remove the battery cover and replace the battery.
