OUTDOOR BRACKET AVAILABLE

Corrosion and Water Leak Protection The sensor is coated with rubber oil, protecting it from corrosion and water leaks. Mount it outdoors under an eave (no direct sunlight or rainfall) with the recommended mounting bracket (sold separately).

Outdoor Compatibility For outdoor use, consider the recommended mounting bracket. The sensor can be installed outdoors but avoid direct sunlight and rainfall.

Z-WAVE COMPATIBILITY

Open Z-Wave Systems Support The sensor is compatible with open Z-Wave systems including Home Assistant (Z-WaveJS), HomeSeer, and Hubitat, as well as SmartThings. Ring Alarm supports only temperature monitoring. It is not supported by alarm panels like Vivint, Qolsys, 2GIG, and ADT.
