Smart Home Devices / Zooz Dimmer
Install this relay to add Z-Wave to your existing wall switch, keeping your favorite switch style and color. The relay’s dry contact output is ideal for non-lighting applications, such as sump pumps or motion lights. Note that the input (switch) requires 120 V.
For a dry contact input device, consider the ZEN16.
Unlike many other smart relays, this device is 3-way compatible. You can use it to automate 3-way setups, even if you lack neutral available at the switch boxes. Install the relay instead at the light fixture where power and neutral are accessible. Carefully follow the wiring diagrams and make any necessary programming changes.
tiện installation is a breeze with pigtail wires for convenient connections. Connect the relay to mechanical on/off or momentary switches only (no dimmers or electronic/smart switches). The relay is compact at 1.5" x 1.4" and 0.7" deep, making it suitable for even the most crowded boxes.
The device requires a neutral wire; check before purchasing.
Bringing back the switch function to your old switches, even when using smart bulbs, is made possible with the smart bulb mode. Control smart bulbs via Z-Wave without cutting power to them when off. Enjoy powerful features like Z-Wave Long Range, SmartStart, and S2 authenticated security. Your hub or home automation software must also support this functionality.
This advanced Z-Wave device requires an updated Z-Wave hub to function correctly. It is designed to work well with the Z-Box Hub and has been tested with Hubitat, Home Assistant (Z-Wave JS), HomeSeer, and SmartThings. Supported by US-based Zooz support, 7 days a week, and backed by a 5-year warranty once registered.
